Corporate History

Lyon Security was founded in 1984 in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Corporate headquarters are now located in Oklahoma City.  Lyon Security specializes in total security system integration of Security alarm systems, Digital Video Surveillance, Access Control and Fire systems.  Our builder division offers structured low voltage wiring products, Music & Surround Sound products as well as central vacuum products.

Experience
Lyon Security has installed over (400) Digital video systems.  On large projects a team approach is used in project supervision.  Initial pre-installation meetings involve our team meeting with your IT Department, facility management, maintenance, and other departments in order to provide an efficient and quality installation.  Periodic communication is maintained throughout the installation progress to make sure that the installation is meeting your expectations and progressing in a timely manor.  This team approach makes certain that everyone involved is on the same page throughout the entire project.  We have used this type of project management approach most recently at Southern Nazarene University.  The project encompassed (12) Digital Video Recorders over an existing fiber based network.  The SNU project went very smoothly coordinating with IT personnel to gain entry to network switches, Dorm management to schedule installation over spring break, and Maintenance staff to schedule installation of cameras in (12) twelve different buildings.
